Extended Detroit Coverage
Extended service coverage from Freightliner helps protect your most important business asset: your bottom line. With your choice of options, extended coverage helps you control up-front costs and manage unexpected repairs occurrences at today’s pricing. After reviewing the Base Warranty Coverage on your truck purchase, strongly consider one of the Extended Service Coverage’s that fit your needs and application for protection on engine systems and components.
Multiple time and distance’s available up to six years or 600K miles for on highway, or seven years or 250K miles for vocational applications. Whether you need engine service tomorrow or major repairs in three years, extended coverage for your truck's engine helps protect your most important investment.
Extended coverage from Detroit® is also available for the DT12® transmission, DT12 clutch, axles and Detroit engines.
Extended Chassis Coverage

Extended service coverage for a truck chassis helps mitigate the risk of unplanned expenditures for related components. Extended NEXT Truck Chassis Coverage
Are you interested in a longer extended coverage for your Freightliner truck? Extended Next Truck Chassis Coverage can be added to your active Truck Coverage package to protect your investment longer.
This coverage option is intended for fleets and owner operators currently covered by any of our TC1, TC2, TC3 or TC4 extended coverage plans. You can add another 1 year/125k miles or 2 years/250k miles of extended coverage to protect your Freightliner truck.
Extended NEXT Detroit Engine Coverage
Extended NEXT is an additional warranty coverage to help customers with an active Freightliner extended coverage or an active Detroit engine extended coverage. It provides additional time and mileage to your current Extended Coverage plan.
Extended OPTIMUM™
Extended OPTIMUM is an OEM backed extended coverage intended for customers without an active base warranty or an expired extended truck coverage.
Coverage options include 1 year/125K miles or 2 years/250K miles of coverage to protect your Freightliner truck.
Extended OPTIMUM is also available for Detroit® engines, DT12® transmission, and Detroit® axles.
This OEM backed coverage is designed by the pros who built your truck. While other third-party warranty providers use caps, deductibles, and coverage limits, we do not. Don’t drive another unprotected mile!
